Qurbani online — Pakistan 2026.

Online Qurbani in Pakistan has matured in three phases: NGO donation-style platforms (post-2010), marketplace PDFs (2018–2023), and now GPS-verified hyperlocal platforms like BakDumGa (2026).

Three generations of online Qurbani

Gen 1 (2010–2018) — NGO-style. You donate money, someone in a village performs the Qurbani on your behalf. Low price, but you never see the animal.

Gen 2 (2018–2023) — Facebook/WhatsApp PDFs. Dealers post photo catalogues; you pay and hope. Often gallery-uploaded stock images, not the actual animal delivered.

Gen 3 (2024+) — Verified hyperlocal platforms. CNIC-verified sellers, in-app live camera media, GPS radius search, transparent pricing. BakDumGa sits in this category.

How BakDumGa works

  1. Open the app — set your location, filter by animal type and budget.
  2. Browse verified listings — every listing has live camera media (no gallery uploads allowed), seller CNIC verification, age certificate, GPS pin.
  3. Request home visit or site visit — optional, encouraged for first-time buyers.
  4. Book the animal — deposit or full payment. Hissedar coordination for cow/camel.
  5. Delivery window — seller delivers to your location within the pre-agreed window (typically 24–72 hours before Eid).
  6. Qasai booking — optional. Book through BakDumGa for Eid-day slaughter service, assigned by your area.
  7. Post-Qurbani services — optional. Chara (fodder), hoof cleaning, BBQ coal, transport pickup.

Verification layer

Three gates every BakDumGa seller passes:

  • CNIC verification — national ID cross-checked against seller onboarding
  • Biradari reference — a local field agent in the seller's community vouches for them
  • Live camera requirement — every listing shot in-app, at the moment of posting. Gallery uploads are blocked.

What can go wrong (and how to avoid)

  • Wrong animal delivered — fight with live camera match; every BakDumGa listing carries a unique shot, compared on delivery.
  • Underage animal — insist on teeth check on arrival. Report via in-app if mismatch.
  • Late delivery — agreed window is contractual. Refund policy built in.
  • Price surprise — listing price is locked at booking; no extra dealer markup.

Payment methods

Season 1 supports: bank transfer, JazzCash, easypaisa, cash on delivery. Credit card support planned for Season 2.

When online fails

Online Qurbani is not for everyone. If you value the mandi experience, in-person haggling, or have family sellers you've used for years — stay with the mandi. BakDumGa is for buyers who prioritize transparency, time, and hyperlocal verification over the traditional ritual.

§ FAQ

Sawalat / Questions.

Is online Qurbani valid in Shariah?

Yes — the physical slaughter still happens, and either you or a valid authorised agent performs it with tasmiyah and niyyah. Online is just the purchase/logistics layer; the Qurbani itself is offline.

Can I see the animal before paying?

Yes. BakDumGa encourages site visits for first-time buyers. Every listing has live camera media; home visits can be requested before booking.

What if the animal delivered is different?

BakDumGa listings use unique live camera shots taken at posting. On delivery, you match against the listing. Any mismatch is grounds for refund/replacement.

Can I book a qasai through the app?

Yes. Qasai is one of the six service categories. Bookings open alongside the main marketplace, assigned by your area of residence.
